Performance as Research at London Metropolitan University

Investigating performance and its documentation

An exciting series of performance as research events followed by chaired
discussions and refreshments.

3rd Performance WEAVE 6.30pm Friday 22nd May.

Thomas Kampe and collaborators
'Weave' is a research project which brings together contemporary dance
makers and somatic practitioners to investigate the use of the
Feldenkrais Method as a tool within choreographic practice. The project
led by Thomas Kampe, includes collaborations by Simonetta Allessandri,
Katsura Isobe, Victoria Worsley, Alenka Herman, Colin Poole, and
Stephanie Schober.

Five multi-disciplinary researchers and their collaborators explore ways
of effectively and creatively documenting their work. They will perform
their work for you. During the final event of the series the researchers
and the documenters will discuss their choices and share the documentation
